Elisabeth Ruth Raymer, 84, of Kerrville, formerly a twenty year resident of Ingram entered into rest on February 14, 2006 at a care facility in Kerrville.Mrs. Raymer was born May 27, 1921 in Mountain Grove, Missouri to Luther and Reba Berry. She married Geoffrey Marvin Raymer in November of 1947 in Houston, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1998. She and her husband were residents of Houston for many years where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and owned and operated a beauty shop. Mr. and Mrs. Raymer moved to their home between Ingram and Hunt in 1979. She lived there many years until recently moving to Kerrville. Mrs. Raymer owned the Turquoise Door gift shop at the Inn of the Hills for over 20 years. She was active in the community with memberships in the HCAF Auxiliary and the Womens Chamber. She loved to sing, was in church choirs all of her life, and in the Fun with Music group at Dietert Senior Center. She is survived by two daughters, Claire Rabson and husband David of Ingram and Renee Drabier and husband Rodney of Farmington, CT sisters, Virginia Pickard of St. Louis, MO and Margaret Freeland of Rome, NY three grandchildren, Goldie Henry, Kindra Rabson, and Geoffrey Rabson and one great grandson, Tracy Henry.Private graveside services and interment will be Friday, February 17, 2006 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
