Kerrville ndash Eliceo Q. Garces, Jr. was born in Kennedy Texas on January 3, 1935.nbsp Our heavenly father called him home at the age of 73, on December 10, 2008. Eliceo Garces was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served his beloved country in the United States Marine Corps.nbsp He was a kind and loving person who had a zest for life, never giving up even after he was told that he had terminal cancer.nbsp Our Marine who served proudly for 17 years will always be our hero. Even though you are gone from this world, you will live forever in our hearts.nbsp As the saying goes, I will not love you till the day that you die, I will love you till the day that I die. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eliceo Garces, Sr and Evarista Garces his wife, Herminia Garces his sisters, Petra Q. Garces, Genoveva Garces Garcia, Dominga Garces Bazaldua, Julia Garces Gomez and brothers, Amado Garces, Pedro Garces, Santos Garces. Surviving him are one sister, Juanita Garces Ozuna two brothers, Gilberto Garces of Eastland, Texas and Cilfredo Garces of Paradise, Texas a very special niecegod daughter, Ora Lee Carrillo of Floresville, Texas three furry children, Daisy, Charlie and Cookie Garces of Floresville Texas: numerous nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends and neighbors.Open ation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Sunday, December 14, 2008 starting at 9 AM.nbsp Funeral Services will be held at 7 PM, Sunday, December 14, 2008 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Garces officiating.nbsp A Graveside Service with full Marine Honors will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas at 11 AM, Monday, December 15, 2008. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
