Kerrville Eleanor Pauline Mrs. E.A. quotJakequot Stephens 95, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local health care center on Thursday, October 27, 2011.

Born in Flour Bluff, TX on March 21, 1916, she was the daughter of Charles Daniel and Dona Welborn Watson. She had been a resident of Kerrville since 1970.

Mrs. Stephens loved crafts, traveling and especially spending time getting her family together.

She was active in the Hill Country Arts Foundation and the Ingram Garden Club.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, E.A. quotJakequot Stephens and by a daughter, Paula Irene Henderson.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her children, Dona M. Kilgore of Kerrville and C. Bruce Stephens of Wimberly, TX 6 grandchildren, Magan StephensMcGinn of San Francisco, CA, Bryan Stephens of Los Angeles, CA, David Benderman of Beaverton, OR, Dan Benderman of Orange Grove, OR, Karen Howard of Tulsa, OK and Kelly Kilgore of Austin 4 great grandchildren including Christopher Shaun Swink, Peyton Stephens and Madeleine McGinn a brother, Joseph quotChubbyquot Watson of Beeville and 2 nephews, Scott Stephens and Phillip Stephens.

ation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 24PM.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 31, 2011 at 2PM at Garden of Memories, Kerrville.

The family suggests that donations be made to the Hunt United Methodist Church.
