Eileen Maier

Eileen Lucille Maier, 79, of Kerrville, Texas passed away peacefully on May 18, 2006 surrounded by family at her residence.Eileen was born July 6, 1926 in Elgin, Minnesota to Frank and Elfa Timm. She married Alfred Maier on February 15, 1947 in Lake City Minnesota. They have been residents of Kerrville for twentysix years. Mrs. Maiers primary focus revolved around caring for her family. She enjoyed all aspects of homemaking including, cooking, shopping, and having all of the family to her home for the holidays. She was an excellent baker making sure there were homemade cookies waiting for her kids when they returned from school. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and sister. She was kind, compassionate, caring, and hard working her family will miss her dearly.She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Violet Timm Angel.She is survived by her husband, Alfred son, Terry Maier and wife Debbie of Las Vegas two daughters, Linda Clark of Kerrville, and Sandi Crist of Napa, California grandchildren, Jennifer Bartts and husband James, Brent Maier and wife Cara, Brian Maier and wife Kelly, Sara Sander and husband Jason, Jimmy Crist, Terry Crist, and Lisa Crist greatgrandchildren, Elisa, Luke, Arilyn, Brooklyn, and Joshua brother, Donald Timm of Red Wing, Minnesota nieces, Bonnie, Jolie, and Vicki and one nephew.ation for family and friends will be 57:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2006 at Kerrville Funeral Home. Private graveside services for family will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery.The family would like to express their thanks to Vistacare Hospice, especially to, Ali and Mary, for their excellent care.
