Edythe Nunneley

Edythe Marjore Nunneley, 98, of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Kerrville passed away peacefully on January 22, 2005 at a care facility in Georgia.Mrs. Nunneley was born January 31, 1906 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Charles and Emma Tunstill. She married Samuel L. Nunneley on September 4, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1994. She moved from Florida to Kerrville where she lived over 30 years, and had moved to Georgia in 2003 to be close to family. While in Kerrville she was a member of the First United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her son, Samuel L. Nunneley, Jr.She is survived by grandson, John Nunneley and wife Jackie of Atlanta, Georgia granddaughter, Cindy King and husband Stan of Atlanta, Georgia greatgrandchildren, Ryan King, Kaylin King, Michael Nunneley, and Davis Nunneley.Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Warren Hornung officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or to a local hospice.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
