Edna Earl Eddie Sharpe went to be with her Lord on August 26, 2005 in Kerrville, Texas. Eddie was born January 27, 1921 in Stamford, Texas to William Earl and Bessie Mae Motes. On December 31, 1941, she was married to Frankie Lee Sharpe in Donna, Texas and soon lived at Army Air Force Bases as Mr. Sharpe went through pilot training. After the war Eddie completed the School of Cosmetology in McAllen, Texas. The young couple then moved to Corpus Christi where Frank was a supervisor for Bordens Milk Company until he bought a distributorship in Mathis, Texas, and Eddie owned her own beauty shop. She was a beautician for over 40 years and owned and operated salons in Mathis and Corpus Christi. She was also involved in the Eastern Star and was Grand Worthy Matron of the Mathis chapter. After Mr. Sharpe sold his business in Mathis, they worked at Nicklos Place for MoRanch until Franks death in 1979. Eddie then used her beauty operator and care giving expertise to care for homebound patients in the Hill Country and in Arkansas. Eddie was a fun and energetic person who enjoyed people and loved to be with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Horace Lee Motes.She is survived by her sister, Doris Kelley of Kerrville son, Ron Sharpe of Austin daughter, Skipper Willmann and husband E.C. of Kerrville grandchildren, Scott Willmann and wife Marcy of Comfort Stacy Kvinsland and husband Craig of Los Angeles Susan Dooley and husband Richard of Austin, Misty Lee and husband Tommy of College Station, and Ryan Sharpe and fianc Toni of Austin great grandchildren, Trad and Jett Willmann, AveryElise, Christian, and Ellie Dooley, Annika Kvinsland, and Conner Lee, and several brothersin law and sistersinlaw along with nieces and nephews who have always given support and care over the years.Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Buran Phillips and Rev. Otis Moore officiating.
