KERRVILLE- Edna Arrendell MacDonald, resident of Kerrville, Texas graciously went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2016 at the age of 82. Edna was born on October 14,1933 in Baytown, Texas. Edna and her husband, Norman G. MacDonald moved to Kerrville, Texas in 2000 to enjoy the hill country.
Edna is survived by her niece, Amber Branch of Woodland, Texas; nephew, Ace Harper of Friendswood, Texas; five stepchildren, Pamela, Steven, Scott, Patricia and Stuart MacDonald along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman G. MacDonald; mother and step-father, Katherine and A.J. Harper; father, T.R. Arrendell; brothers, A.J. (Sonny) Harper Jr. and Ivan Arrendell; aunt, Ruth Vickery and her husband Hardin.
After the passing her husband, Edna made the decision to move from her "Hill Country Chalet" that they shared to Vicksburg Village, where she spent the last two year. Edna expressed that the
decision to move to Vicksburg Village and joining Sunrise Baptist Church was the best decision she ever made besides accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Edna joined Sunrise Baptist Church and had a devoted community support system that continued until her passing. Edna and her family are grateful to have had the support from friends, the community of Vicksburg Village and Sunrise Baptist Church
In lieu of flowers, it was Edna's request that donations be made to Sunrise Baptist Church or a charity of one's choice in her memory
A Private Graveside Service will take place at Forest Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
