nbspKerrville ndash Edith Marie Johnson Schoultz, 84, entered into eternal rest on September 6, 2008 at a local care facility. Edith was born in Scottdale, PA Pittsburgh area and was the daughter of John and Catherine Johnson. She married Paul Schoultz on Thanksgiving 1945 and they made their home in Champion, Ohio.While in Ohio, Edith was an active member of Pythian Sisters Independence Temple 159 where she served as M.E.C. in 1958. She was also a member of Dames of Malta Loyal Heart Sisterhood 302 Rebekah Lodge 453 Champion Garden Club past president and the Champion Christian Church. When daughter Paula was a member of Champion Girl Scout Troop 156, she served as assistant troop leader. Edith worked for Packard Electric, W. T. Grants, and Turneys while in Ohio. In 1980, she moved to Texas to be near her daughter and worked 10 years at J. C. Penney in Houston. Edith was devoted to her family and friends. She was an inspiration to all of those who have received her special gift of love and friendship.Edith was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents, and her three sisters, Gertrude, Jean, and Cynthia.Edith is survived by her daughter Paula Schoultz Ejzak, sonin law Edward Ejzak, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of good friends.Memorial services with interment will be held at Champion Cemetery, Warren, Ohio at a later date.
