Edgar King

Edgar E. Red King passed away at his home March 29, 2005.A graduate of Tivy High School he served his country in Vietnam as a member of the First Air Calvary. He was honorably discharged in 1968. He was employed by Hill Country Telephone Coop until he retired in April, 2004 due to his health.Preceding him in death are his parents, Earl K. and Ruth Wells King, and two brothers, James Clinton King, and Vincent Francis King.Red is survived by his wife, Pamela Ann King, two daughters, Pamela Kay Koller and Sarah Catherine Standard, and grandchildren, Anthony and Chelsea Koller brother, Virgel Wayne King, and wife JoAnn sisters, Mary Elaine Carpenter, Marjorie Louise Ingriola, Evelyn Ruth Bowen and husband Dub, and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Ligon officiating. Interment will follow at 2:15PM, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. No visitation is scheduled.
