Mountain Home Douglas Clark McKibban, 54, of Mountain Home, TX passed from this life on January 8, 2013 at his residence after a long illness. Born in Fairbanks, Alaska on November 24, 1958, he was the son of Otto Leonard and Constance L. Tennant.

Doug grew up in San Antonio, and spent a tour in the United States Navy. On April 12, 1994, he married Lisa A. Good in Mohrsville, Pennsylvania. He will be remembered as a father and a good friend. He was known to be an extremely hardworking man, a veteran who served his country, a humanist, and a realist. He spent many years in the landscape profession, and loved working outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents Otto and Constance McKibban his nephew, Otto Michael McKibban and his sisterinlaw, Jaqueline McKibban.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his daughter, Joyce McKibban wife, Lisa McKibban Michael McKibban and his wife Kristi Martin, Randy McKibban, Leonard McKibban, Calvin McKibban, Carolyn McKibban, Debbie McKibban, Jim Burrier, Nadine McKibban, Sue Burrier, Lynn McKibban, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and greatnieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2012 from 4 6 PM at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, January 13, 2012 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Rev. Trino Garza officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorials can be made in Dougs name to the charity of ones choice.
