Dorothy Ruark

Kerrville Mrs. Dorothy M. Ruark, 91, of Kerrville, and formerly of Hobart, IN, went to the Lord on February 24, 2012.

Born on August 4, 1920 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Douglas and Alta Horne Emerson.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Alta and Douglas Emerson, her husband, Keith Ruark, and her brothers, Donald Emerson and his wife, Ruth, Jack Emerson and his wife, Frances and James Burke and his wife, Mary.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her son, Kenneth Ruark and his wife, Jeannette, of Ingram, TX a step grandson, Major Jonathan Long and his wife, Melinda a step granddaughter, Jeanna Long, great grandchildren, Marcus and Alexia Long her brothers, Theodore Emerson and Robert Emerson along with many nieces and nephews.

ation will be held at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, IN on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 38PM.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 1PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, IN. Committal will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.
