Dorothy Kuchar

Dorothy K. Kuchar, 84, of Kerrville, Texas went meet her Lord on October 22, 2005 at a local care facility. Mrs. Kuchar was born July 22, 1921 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Rev. and Mrs. George Manross. Dorothy was very involved in the Church of the Nazarene she was brought up in, and where her father was the Pastor. She married Jim Kuchar on March 1, 1962 in Angleton, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1988. She worked for Dow Chemical Company, and retired as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was quiet and reserved, and always remained a good Christian lady who is now at rest with her Lord. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Naomi Ruth Crouch, and brother, George Manross, Jr. She is survived by her son, Wendell Gary Herring and wife Jackie of Kerrville brother, Bobby Dale Manross and wife Lydia of Houston two nephews, John David Crouch and wife, Nikki, and George Henry Manross three grandchildren, and nine greatgrandchildren. Graveside services will be 11:00AM, Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. ation will be 68:00PM, Tuesday, at Kerrville Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
