Dorothy Hawley

Kerrville Dorothy Louise Hawley, 90, a longtime resident of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on Friday, September 10, 2010 at a local hospital.

Mrs. Hawley was born in Dallas, TX on March 8, 1920 to the late Christopher and Gladys Scudder Djernis. She married the love of her life, Robert L. Hawley in San Antonio, Texas. She was first and foremost a homemaker, but had also been a model and at times, was engaged in bookkeeping and clerical. She was very proud of her Danish heritage.

She is predeceased by her parents and a daughter, Donna Stewart.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are husband, Robert L. Hawley, Kerrville, TX stepdaughter, Karin Wagasy, Memphis, TN several grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and greatgreatgrandchildren along with a host of many neighbors and lifelong friends.

Graveside Services will be held at Center Point Cemetery at 11 AM, Tuesday, September 14, 2010 with Chaplain Sam Ligon officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in honor of Dorothy to a charity of choice.
