Dorothy Floyd

Kerrville Dorothy Marie Floyd, 80, of Kerrville, TX passed away February 25, 2004 at her residence.Mrs. Floyd was born December 13, 1923 in Grayson County to Cleophus and Florence Chumbley. She grew up in Grayson County and attended school there. On January 20, 1945 she married C.A. Floyd in Corpus Christi. She was a homemaker, and after her husbands retirement they lived in many places including Llano, TX 19831987, Rogers, AK 19871990, Bullhead City, AZ 19901991, and in 1994 they moved to Kerrville where they have made their home for the past 10 years. She loved to listen to talk radio, and to watch television evangelists. She was a Baptist. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Dennis Floyd on April 15, 1979.She is survived by her husband C.A. Floyd of Kerrville sons, Larry Floyd of Glendale, AZ Ronnie Floyd of Kerrville, TX and a sister, Mary Katherine Clark of Davis, OK.Graveside services will be 11:00AM Saturday, February 28, 2004 at the Llano City Cemetery in Llano, TX with Rev. Sam Ligon officiating.
