Katy Dorothy Clarice Crowe 95, of Hunt, passed away from this life on Monday February 22, 2010 at her sons home in Katy, TX

Born in Martinsville, TX on October 27, 1914, she was the daughter of Mathew S. and Saneta Alice Turner Palmer. She had lived in Hunt area since 1980

She was married to her husband Richard Crowe for over 60 years until his passing on December 7, 2002.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

She was the or of the preschool at the First Baptist School in Brownsville for many years and was a substitute teacher in Hunt after retiring. She was also a volunteer for CAM for many years. She was a long time member of the Hunt Baptist Church, where she taught senior adult womens Sunday school class till the age of 90.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are 4 sons: Keith and his wife Janis Crowe of Corpus Christi, TX , Donald and his wife Sandy Crowe of Hunt, TX, Douglas and his wife Judy Crowe of Katy, TX, and Charles Crowe of Concan, TX

Also 8 grandchildren, 15 Great grandchildren and 2 greatgreat grandchildren.

Family visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 6 to 8pm at Kerrville Funeral Home.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 2pm at Hunt Baptist Church, with Rev. John Collis officiating. Interment will follow at Japonica Cemetery.

The family suggests that donations in her name be made to CAM or to a charity of your choice.
