Kerrville Dorita Nicholson Heitmann, 91, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2004 at a local hospital. She was born April 1, 1913 to Joseph and Zoe Frederick LeBlanc in Lozes, Iberia Parish, LA.Mrs. Heitmann has been a resident of Texas, living in Houston since November 1936, and later a resident of Kerr County since February 1955. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, and a member of the women of Notre Dame.She was an Avon representative for several years, she volunteered at the Dietert Senior Center formerly the Dietert Claim, and a member of the Stroke Club, although she was no longer active there. Mrs. Heitmann was a legal secretary both in Houston and Kerrville, retiring in 1974.Mrs. Heitmann married Larry E. Nicholson in 1941 in Houston and he preceded her in death in 1973. She then married Henry E. Heitmann in Kerrville in 1974 and he preceded her in death in 1984. She is also preceded in death by her parents.Mrs. Heitmann is survived by a stepdaughter, Peggy Curtis and Husband Jack 4 stepgrandsons 2 stepgranddaughters God daughter, Theresa Bodin and husband Wilbert very good friends, Welty Wright, Mildred Gaura and Lois Ryan along with a host of many loving friends, neighbors, and fellow parishners.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 PM, Monday, November 15, 2004 at the Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Mike Boulette as celebrant. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville, Texas. A Rosary was held at the Funeral Home on Sunday evening.Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus.
