Doris McDaniel

Doris Tagle McDaniel, 89, of Kerrville, Texas went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2014. Doris was born June 29, 1924 in San Antonio, Texas.

She was a member of the Kerrville Apostolic Church for 33 years. Being a woman of great faith, her church was very important to her and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Joe McDaniel daughters, Melva Dunn, and Cherry Thomas first grandchild, Kevin Orem of Louisiana.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her children, Oleta and Jerry Bohling of Terrytown, Louisiana Jo Ellen Hicks of Paragould, Arkansas Loretta and Phillip Henajosa of San Antonio, Texas Dorris and Johnnie Doyle of Kerrville, Texas Jim McDaniel of Kerrville, Texas Caroline and Len Smith of Grande Prairie, Texas brother, Robert Tagle and wife Glorene of La Maque, Texas. Doris is also survived by 16 Grand Children, 33 Great Grand Children, and 9 Great Great Grand Children.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday March 28, 2014 68 PM, at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy. Kerrville, Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM in the sanctuary of Kerrville Apostolic Church, 1101 North Street, Kerrville, Texas 78028 on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery.
