Dora Flanagan

Kerrville Dora Faye Flanagan, 81, of Kerrville, TX passed away after a series of illnesses on June 2, 2007. She was born in West Monroe, Louisiana in 1926 to Harvey E. and Alma Hollingsworth Snowden. Faye, as her family and friends called her, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Faye loved her family more than anything else on earth. She was preceded in death by her parents and her eldest daughter, Daphne.Mrs. Flanagan is survived by her husband of fiftyseven years, Charles Chuck Flanagan her children. Charles Flanagan, Jr. of Houston, TX and grandson Benjamin, Debra Flanagan of Las Vegas, NV, Christopher Flanagan, wife Danielle and granddaughters, Lauren and Emma of Pensacola, FL, and Patrick Flanagan of Mechanicsville, MD along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 10 AM at Kerrville Bible Church with Chaplain Jim Brown officiating. Interment will follow on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 10:15 AM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX. In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association and the American Lung Association.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
