Kerrville Donald Don Whitehead, 86, passed from this life on Monday, January 14, 2008 at his residence in Kerrville, Texas. Mr. Whitehead was born October 28, 1921 in Billingham, WA to Frank LeRoy and Ruby Elvira Billingsley Whitehead.Mr. Whitehead spent his military career in the United States Air Force, from which he retired. He had been a member of the Hunt Baptist Church for several years.He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Margaret Whitehead of Kerrville, TX a son, Donald Whitehead, Jr. and wife Carolyn of San Antonio, TX grandchildren, Brandon and Sarah Whitehead also from San Antonio, TX, along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.He was predeceased by his parents and a son, George Leslie Whitehead.A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home at 10 AM, Friday, January 18, 2008 with the Rev. Bill Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery, Kerrville, TX.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
