Donald Smith

Kerrville Donald Lee Smith, 67, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on Friday, December 17, 2010 at his residence.

Born on February 8, 1943 in Muskogee, Oklahoma where his father was stationed during WWII, he was the son of Hollan and Doris Lee Smith.

He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and married Connie Ressel on July 23, 1971. He was well known for building portable walkin wild game coolers. They are still in operation all over Texas and as far away as Montana.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to honor and cherish his memories are his wife, Connie of Kerrville, TX sons, Cody Smith of Mountain Home, TX, and Shelby Smith of Leander, TX daughter, Kim Usher of Kerrville, TX nine grandchildren a sister, Sherry Secor, along with many relatives and loving friends who will miss him dearly.

Graveside Services will be at 2 PM, Monday, December 20, 2010 at Sunset Cemetery, Mountain Home, TX.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
