KERRVILLE - Diane C. Weisiger, 80, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on March 30, 2015 at a local care facility in Kerrville, TX. Diane was born December 30, 1934 to Calvin Leighton Cobb and Violet Carrier Cobb.
Diane was born in Beeville, TX and raised in Bloomington on an oil lease. She met her husband, Jack Weisiger, while attending Victoria College. On August 6, 1955, Jack and Diane married and settled in Victoria, where their children were born and started school in Nursery. In 1968, they moved to the Hill Country where they eventually built their dream home in Wimberley's Flite Acres. Diane substituted at the local schools and taught piano lessons during those years. In 1980, they left Wimberley for Austin, where she enjoyed working for the Dean at St. Edward's University. In 1985 they moved out to Highland Haven near Marble Falls, where Diane began her life's work caring for and keeping company with the elderly. Her work eventually carried them to Kerrville in 1989, where she cared for seven different clients over the years, until her health deteriorated and she had to quit driving. She was very involved in Women's Aglow and the Helps Ministry at Calvary Temple Church among many other things. She loved everyone and everyone she met loved her. If you ever saw Diane's special smile you would never forget it. Jack and Diane's love affair lasted four months and seven days short of sixty years. Their love and devotion to one another never faltered or wavered but remained strong and vital to the very end.
