Dennis Longnecker

Dennis J. Longnecker, 71, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in Kerrville, Texas. He was born January 16, 1948 in Richmond, Indiana to Marion L. and Mary E. Longnecker.

Dennis is preceded in death by his brother, James Lacy; sister, Joan Dortch; his mother and father; and 13 uncles.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jay Longnecker; brother, Keith Longnecker; sister, Margaret Wicken; niece, Beth Longnecker; and fiance, Stephanie Parker.

Dennis was a simple man, loving family member, and friend. He had a great lust for life. He never met an enemy, and would always go to great effort to help a friend in need. He enjoyed horses and guns, and was just as good at one as he was at the other. He was a good electronic technician, and also enjoyed cooking.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 2PM at First Presbyterian Church, 800 Jefferson Street, Kerrville, TX 78028.
