Kerrville Delores Ince, 66, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at a local hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born on January 9, 19 to the late Rev. Otis and Opal Lloyd Ward in Sugargrove, Arkansas.Mrs. Ince moved to Lubbock in 1955 and later married her loving husband of 48 years on June 3, 1956. She was the daughter of a Presbyterian minister, and was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church herself. She and her husband moved to Kerrville in 1999 to settle in for retirement in the beautiful Hill Country that she loved so much.She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many who had a great unique sense of humor. Loving all animals, she had a variety of many different ones that she cherished including, dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, and the list goes on. It goes without saying that her love for animals created a love for the outdoors in which she spent a great deal of time. She cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren, especially attending the grandchildrens sporting events.Mrs. Ince was a true inspiration to those who knew her and spent time around her. She was also a favorite within the family, as she kept everyone on edge with her wit.She was active in the Junior League, the Lubbock Rangers, a member of the Cumberlain Presbyterian Church in Lubbock, Texas, had attended and was active in the First United Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas for a number of years.Mrs. Ince is survived by her husband Jerry Ince of Kerrville, Texas two sons, Mark Ince and Scot Ince and his wife Misty, all of Kerrville, Texas grandsons, Brandon and Jaron of Kerrville, Texas granddaughters, Kadee, Koree, Morgan, and Harley, all of Kerrville, Texas along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors who will dearly miss her smile and encouragement. The family will receive friends and guests from 5 7 PM, Friday, January 14, 2005 at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028.The family will also receive guests from 5 7 PM, Monday, January 17, 2005 at Rix Funeral Home, 1901 Broadway, Lubbock, Texas 79401.Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Lubbock, Texas with Rev. Sam Estes officiating. Interment will follow at the Lubbock City Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
