Deborah Kaye Hedrick, 68, of Ingram passed from this life on February 23, 2024 at a local hospital.
Debi was born October 26, 1955 in Harlingen, Texas; and grew up in California. She married William John “Bill” Hedrick on December 19, 1981. Debi went to school at Chula Vista Beauty College, became a cosmetologist and was a hairdresser for over 20 years. Debi raised two beautiful children in Houston; and eventually ended up with four amazing grandchildren. Debi and Bill retired in Cypress, Texas then sold their home and moved to Ingram. Debi was an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who touched the lives of many people with her unconditional love, nurturing nature, and selflessness. She had a very profound relationship with God, attending church and Bible study were very important to her. Debi’s faith was truly inspiring.
Debi was diagnosed with ovarian cancer on January 5th and sadly lost her battle. Debi will be so deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Her laughter, warm smile and genuine kindness touched the lives of so many people. May her spirit live on in the hearts of those she loved and continue to inspire us to live life to the fullest.
Debi is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Shirley (Thaxton) Parnham.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, William “Bill” Hedrick; daughter, Christie Hedrick; son, Steve Hedrick; granddaughters, Madison Coursey and Cailynne Coursey; grandsons, Hunter Hedrick and Conner Hedrick; and a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be held in Houston at a later date.
