David Zacher

Kerrville David L. Zacher, 63, of Kerrville, passed from this life at his home on March 17, 2011.

Born in Oakland, CA on February 8, 1948, he was the son of Leo A. and Cora Virgia Sevier Zacher. He had been a resident of Kerrville for the past 9 years, coming here from Houston.

He served in the US Army. He was a member of the VFW.

David was a data coordinator and had worked for BakerHughes for over 35 years.

He enjoyed fishing, feeding wildlife at his home, traveling and especially loved to stand at the top of his property, quotThe Rock Farmquot and enjoy his magnificent views.

He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, Bill.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Dianne Johnson Zacher of Kerrville his sons, Stephen Zacher of Ft. Worth, TX and David Zacher of Dexter, GA his daughters, Barbara Pendergrast of Manchester, England and Amy Montana of Katy, TX 8 grandchildren his brothers, Robert Zacher of Randall, WA, Leo Zacher of Randall, WA, Raymond Zacher of Apple Valley, CA and Leo Zacher of Burlingame, CA his sisters, Carroll Zacher of Rialto, CA, Betty Howard of Mountain Ranch, CA and Christine Torgesen of Portland, OR and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on March 21, 2011, at Kerrville Funeral Home, Main Chapel. Committal services will follow at Garden of Memories, Kerrville.
