David Lynch, age 58 of Ingram, TX passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at a local hospital in Fredericksburg, TX.
Mr. Lynch was born September 22, 1956 in Kerrville, TX the son of John and Mildred Lynch. He was a certified Peace Officer and functioned in the capacity of Reserve Peace Officer for the Ingram Marshall's Office for over 9 years. David was a 40 year active member of the Ingram Fire Department and began his service as a Firefighter in April 1974. He held various offices within the organization and answered his last call holding the rank of Senior Lieutenant on June 14, 2015. Mr. Lynch was an avid gun enthusiast and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and grandchildren.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his mother, Mildred Kendrick, brother; Ray Lynch, 2 sons; Jason Lynch and wife, Amber, John Lynch, daughter; Robin Clay-Lynch, grandchildren; Kolton William Lynch and River Zola Johnson, many friends, relatives as well as his extended family and members of the Ingram Fire Department and Ingram Marshall's Office. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Amos Rose and wife, Emma, father; John Harold Lynch, son; Zachary, brother; Richard Michael Lynch.

Celebration of life services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Ingram Fire Department in Ingram TX with Judge Bill Ragsdale officiating. The funeral procession comprising of emergency personnel from multiple agencies will escort Mr. Lynch, leaving at 9 a.m. from Kerrville Funeral Home to the Ingram Fire Department.
A fund has been created at Security State Bank and Trust for Mr. Lynch to help defray funeral expenses.
