David Garcia

Kerrville David Garcia, 32, of Bandera, TX passed from this life on the evening of Thursday, July 16, 2009 in Kerrville, Texas as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born on November 25, 1976 to Catarino Garcia, Jr., and Darlene L. Schultze.

David was a most giving person, always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. He especially enjoyed working on cars, and more specifically, hot rods. There was never a time that a person in need didnt receive the help needed in auto repairs, without taking payment for any of it. He also loved to fish, always making time to bait a hook. His nieces and nephews were the focus of his life. He was their guardian angel, caring for them, playing with them, and seeing that their needs were met. Any type of sports caught his attention, but throwing the football for the boys, or playing basketball with them all was special to him. He wanted to make a positive impact on others so he could contribute back in a way to make a difference.

Those left to honor and cherish his memories are his parents father, Catarino Garcia, Jr., and mother Darlene L. Schultze brother, Mike Garcia sister, Mary Garcia sisterinlaw, Regan Garcia grandpa, Catarino Garcia, Sr. and grandma, Luz Garcia four aunts, eight uncles, four nieces, three nephews, and many cousins along with a host of many loving friends who will miss him dearly.

ation will be held from 6 8 PM, Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Bandera Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Warren Hornung officiating.

In lieu of floral arrangements, monetary donations will be accepted by the family to help cover funeral expenses.
