Daniel Alexander

Kerrville - Daniel Carl Alexander, 60, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life On Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at a San Antonio hospital. Daniel was born on April 2, 1955 to George and Margaret Alexander in Dallas, Texas.

He graduated from Birkner High School in Richardson, Texas and then spent time at Stephen F. Austin University and Texas Tech University. Daniel was employed by Exxon Research, Baytown, Johnson Space Center, Houston, and at Home Depot, Kerrville. He had a love of nature, sports, and going to grandchildren's ball games.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Margaret Alexander.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Ivy Alexander; his sons, Reese Alexander and Jim Alexander; his grandsons, Nicolas Alexander and Marcus Alexander along with their mother, Maria Lopez Pitts, Aiden Alexander and his mother, Crystal Shotwell; and his mother-in-law Faye Turner.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028 at 2 PM, Monday, February 8, 2016.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that we honor Daniel by making donations to The Kidney Foundation and the Nature Conservancy.
