Cynthia Menke

Cynthia UhteMenke, 46, beloved daughter and wife, passed away August 23, 2005 in San Antonio. Surviving are her loving husband Will Menke stepson Josh Menke of Kerrville, Texas her adoring parents Robert and Gwenda Lou Uhte of Converse, Texas her cat, Shedaisy and her kittens uncles, aunts and cousins in Indiana. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany, grew up in a military family, and lived part of her life on Army Posts stateside and in Germany. She was a graduate of Burges High School at El Paso, Texas and attended the University of Texas in El Paso until temporarily returning to Germany. She recently attended Schreiner University where she obtained her BA in psychology and graduated with honors, having also been on the Deans List, the Presidents List, and nominated for Whos Who in American Colleges and Universities. She was employed at Mark Andrews Law Office until the time of her death. She loved animals, gardening, the outdoors, and especially the river and the sea coasts. Her laughter and her love will never be forgotten.Services will be held 1:00PM, Friday, August 26, 2005 at Kerrville Funeral Home with internment to follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
