Connie Butler

Connie Butler, 53, of Kerrville was called home unexpectedly and too soon on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 to be with the Lord and Jesus Christ, our Savior. She was born on December 27, 1964 in Kerrville to Jimmy Burrow and May Jimenez.

Her life was dedicated to raising her three daughters; Wendy Hutchinson, 34, Brittany Butler, 25, and Hailey Butler, 22 along with 2 granddaughters; Railey Cowen, 15, and Emery Buggs, 3. She was the rock to her family and the one that everyone called when in need. Even if she didn't have much to give, she would always welcome you with a hug, an ear to listen, and selfless actions of giving what she did have.

Connie was an extremely hard-worker. She worked at HEB 20+ years; varying different positions from the bakery, meat market, seafood, and sales. Each position she gave her all and ended up being the top salesman at the Boerne HEB Plus location leading the store to become top 10 in the state for the first time. She loved having conversations with literally anyone. Her last and final job was at Schreiner University as a custodian just hitting her one year anniversary. She loved the people she worked with and chose the position to have set hours and holidays off to spend time with her family. Her fun, outgoing, loving, and silly personality resulted in many family members, coworkers, friends, and members in the community heartbroken from the unexpected circumstances.

Connie is survived by her daughters; Wendy Hutchinson, Brittany Butler, and Hailey Butler; parents Jimmy Burrow and wife, Harriot Burrow, and May Jimenez and husband, Gilbert Jimenez; 3 brothers, Tim Burrow, Bobby Burrow, and Jimmy Burrow; 3 sisters Sheila Hamill, Angela Henley, and Katherine Harrington; granddaughters, Railey Cowen and Emery Buggs; an aunt, Alba Kinnett, and several nephews, nieces, friends, and loved ones.

A celebration of Connie's life will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Kerrville Church of Christ. A reception will follow at Schreiner University Junkin Building from 12pm-3pm.

Pallbearers will be Tim Burrow, Bobby Burrow, James Burrow, Cody Burlew, Devin Burrow, and Brian Parks.

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kerrville Funeral Home.
