Cody Holmes

Cody Lowell Holmes, 22 years old, passed from this life on June 30, 2018 at his home in Kerrville, Texas.

Cody Lowell Holmes, sweetly known as Cody Bear, was born August 3, 1995 in Kerrville, Texas. Cody was truly an angel whose feet never touched the earth to walk but are now running on heaven's golden streets. Cody was like a ray of sunshine to everyone who knew him. He always had a smile to offer and had the most infectious laugh that was like beautiful music to your ears. Even though Cody was handicapped, nothing stopped him from living life to the fullest. He loved parasailing, swimming, boating, horseback riding, fishing with his brother, music of all kinds, Morgan's Wonderland, and a trip to Disney World, riding with the windows down and the wind blowing in his hair wearing a cool pair of shades, and lastly, spending quiet times on his mama's lap.

Cody will be met in heaven by his baby brother Caleb, his Opa Robert Mullen, his aunt Catherine Holmes, and his great grandparents the Beelers.

Cody is survived by his mother Kathy Mullen, his father Robert W. Holmes, his twin brother Kyle, his sister Cortney, his brother Tyler Holmes, grandparents Anne and Richard Smith, grandparents Lowell and Joanne Holmes, and a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5th, 2018 at the Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, Texas, 78028 from 6pm-8pm.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6th, 2018, at the Calvary Temple Church, 3000 TX-534 Loop, Kerrville, Texas 78028 at 11am with Pastor Del Way officiating.

In lieu of floral contributions, memorials may be made in Cody's name to Camp CAMP, 515 Skyline Drive East, Center Point, Texas 78010 or Morgan's Wonderland, 5223 David Edwards Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78233

A sincerely thank you to Sandy Trainum and Brandy Lanell for the care and love that they gave to Cody throughout the years and also a thank you to the Hill Country Memorial Hospital Hospice and team of care givers for their services provided.
