Clifford Junker

Kerrville Clifford Gene Junker, 78, passed from this life at his home surrounded by his family on July 22, 2011.

Born in Elm Creek Township, Martin Country, MN on January 28, 1933, he was the son of Elmer H. and Dorethea Kindgren Junker.
He graduated from Triumph High School, Class of 1950.

On November 28, 1951, he joined the US Navy and served until he was honorably discharged on November 25, 1955.

On June 21, 1957, he married Patricia L. Wolff in Trimont, MN, a union that would last 54 years.

After he was discharged from the Navy, he worked on his familys farm in Monterey, MN, then worked for Erikson Holiday for several years until he went to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad and retired as an engineer.

A true family man, he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He valued his friends that he made over the years, staying in contact with many of them over the many miles.

Mr. Junker enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, woodworking and his computer where he would quotSkypequot with his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Delvin Junker.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 54 years, Patricia L. Wolff Junker of Kerrville his children, C. Bradley Junker of Phoenix, AZ, Pamela J. Speck and her husband Daniel, of Pleasanton, TX, Kippling B Junker and his wife, Lisa, of Gillette, WY, and Elizabeth S. Determan and her husband, Stanley, of College Station, TX 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren his brothers and sisters, Harland Junker and his wife, Lola, of Mandan, ND, Marion Goldencrown of Trimont, MN and Fred Junker and his wife, Doris, of Belfair, WA his sisterinlaw, Donna Junker of Elizabethton, TN, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

ation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 9:30AM10:30 AM at Kerrville Funeral Home.

A celebration of his life will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 10:30AM. Burial will be held at Elm Creek Cemetery, Rural Trimont, MN on August 4, 2011.

The family suggests that donations in his name be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Kerrville or to Trinity Lutheran Church in Trimont, MN.
