Cleo Chamness

Cleo Chamness, 97, of Kerrville, Texas, formerly of Corpus Christi, passed away on December 19, 2005.Mrs. Chamness was born November 3, 1908 in Roscoe, Texas to Samuel Thomas and Sarah Zorne Blair. She married James Berry Chamness on December 20, 1930 in Carthage, Texas. He preceded her in death in October, 1969. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kerrville, and former member of Parkdale Baptist Church in Corpus Christi. She is preceded in death by her husband and one sister, Minnie Floy Stephens. She is survived by her son, James Thomas Chamness, and wife Lois of Thompsontown, PA and Sarah Vaughan and husband Joe of Ingram eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2005 at the Rehobeth United Methodist Church in Carthage, Texas with Chaplain Joe Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow in the Rehobeth Cemetery. ation will be 9:00 a.m., Friday at Rehobeth United Methodist Church in Carthage prior to services.
