Dear Dad,
It is too painful to write about you, but I can write to you. Clarence M. Wood, "Woody", you were born October 24, 1935 in Ingram, Texas and went home May 28, 2022.
Your parents Clarence m. Wood, Sr. and Jesse Gertrude Wood left before you; as did your brother James E. Wood and sister Aline Wood.
You were so proud of us who survive you. Amy Lyn Wood, Garland, Texas; John Steven Wood and Lisa of Rockwall, Texas; Jeffery Scott Wood and Annette of Royse City, Texas and Carolyn Wood-Caulkins and Stan of Kerrville, Texas. You are also survived by your precious grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as your niece, Susie Wood Anderson and Scott of Destin, Florida; nephew Daniel "Danny" "Woody" Wood of Bruce, Florida and niece Dana Lee Wood of Orlando, Florida.
You were such an adventurer, traveling the world working in the field of
Reconnaissance Night Vision Technology, and Fiber Optics. Oh, the stories you told.
We will miss them.
Did I mention you graduated from Tivy High School and the University of Texas at Austin.
And then, the end came too soon. Our family would like to thank the Angels who work for New Century Hospice. They journeyed with you on your final adventure.
All services will be private.
We love you and will miss you until. . . .
It seems like I've been here before I
can't remember when
But I have this funny feelin'
That we'll all be together again.
All my life is a circle
But I can't tell you why
Seasons spinning round again
The years keep roll in' by
Harry Chapin
