Clarence Cummings

Clarence L. Cummings, 88, of Kerrville, Texas died November 10, 2003 at a local care facility.Mr. Cummings was born April 18, 1915 in Scalp Level, PA to Arthur Garfield and Lizzey Ann Cummings. He married Bertha H. Cummings on November 19, 1936 she preceded him in death on March 17, 1993. He worked as an Aviation Maintenance Technician for the United States Army, and retired after 30 years. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, the Scottish Rite in San Antonio, the Khedive Temple A.F. A.M., the 24th Infantry Association, and the American Legion. He married Helen Wickson Cummings on May 24, 1998.He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife.He is survived by wife Helen Cummings of Kerrville, Texas sons, Patrick Wayne Cummings of Carlisle, PA and Frank Albert Cummings of Stafford, TX StepDaughter, Beverly Braun and husband Bob of Schertz, TX Grandsons, Troy Cummings, Geoffery Cummings and Patrick Lee Cummings Granddaughters, Meghan Cummings and Pamela Wise 2 great granddaughters, and 2 great grandsons.Services are under the direction and care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
