Christine Elaine Shotts

Christine Elaine Shotts, 69 of Kerrville, TX passed from this life into the arms of her heavenly father on March 14, 2023 at a hospital in San Antonio surrounded by her family.

She was born in Kerrville on August 9, 1953 to parents Charlie Leroy Dugosh and Barbara Jean Stoughton.  She married Jeffery Shotts on March 16, 2001. 

Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Barbara Jean Dugosh; husband, Jeffery Shotts; sister, Mary Katherine Kramer and brother-in-law Ron Hathaway.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Gary Simpson and wife Emily of Helotes, TX; Matthew Simpson and wife Stephanie of Kerrville, TX and Cory Simpson and wife Jennifer of Kerrville, TX; grandchildren, Logan, Brandon, Jonathan, Joshua, Elizabeth, Dakota  and Court; sister, Charlene Hathaway and nephews; Christopher and Charlie Theodore Hathaway.

A Christian Burial Mass will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 909 Main Street, Kerrville TX.

Inurnment at Fort Sam National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.

A cocktail and refreshment reception will be held following the service at Sendera Springs, 231 Avery Road, Kerrville TX 78028.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Peterson Hospice in Christine’s name.
