Chester M. Richter, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at his residence.nbspChester was born February 8, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas to Emil and Barbara Cielencki Richter. He married Sharon Mueller on April 24, 1965 in Floresville, Texas. They have shared a blessed fortythree years together. Chester worked for Pyramid manufacturing in Houston as a Fabrication Superintendent for eleven years before moving to Kerrville in 1979. In Kerrville, he owned Wilderness Construction until 2000. Chester and Sharon moved to the Take It Easy Park where he enjoyed water volleyball, and had been looking forward to summer pool time. He loved the outdoors: fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a man with a great sense of humor who was always smiling and had a contagious laugh. He never gave up his Catholic faith, loved the Lord, and let everybody know it. Chester loved life he was so proud of his family, children, and grandchildren. A great man, with a big heart, Chester will be missed by all who knew and loved him.nbspHe is preceded in death by his father, Emil M. Richter.nbspHe is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Richter two daughters, Stacey Lynn Richter of San Antonio, and Carey Michelle Palm and husband Bjorn of Hunt son, Clint Michael Richter and wife Jodie of Kerrville grandchildren, Carissa Carden and husband Dustin, Courtney Richter, Connor Richter, Chelsey Richter, Caigen Palm, Caitlyn Richter, Clint Richter, Jr., Cayleigh Palm, and Chellby Richter brothers, Larry Richter and wife Gail of Sinton, Bernard Richter and wife Norma of Center Point sisters, Mary Ann Korzekwa and husband Dennis of Pandora, Phyllis Davenport of Cibilo, Janie Ziedek of Floresville, and Evelyn Richter of Floresville. Chester is further survived by his mother, Barbara Richter of Floresville and friends, Cecil and Sharon Holloman, whom he loved like a brother and sister along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the main chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Deacon Charles Domingues officiating. ation will be held 57:00 PM, Friday at Kerrville Funeral Home. nbspHonorary pallbearers will be his waterball buddies from Take it Easy Cecil Holloman and Donald Johnson.nbspnbsp
