Charlotte Smith

Charlotte Desper Smith, 72, of Kerrville, Texas passed away peacefully at a local hospital on May 30, 2006.Mrs. Smith was born on February 5, 1934 in Staunton, Virginia to Glennie and Thelma Desper. She married C. Wallace Wally Smith, Jr. on September 14, 1957 in Staunton. She is survived by her husband mother, Thelma M. Desper of Staunton, Virginia sister, Priscilla Cash and husband D.F. Cash, Jr. of Staunton, Virginia brother, Dr. Paul C. Desper of Manassas, Virginia sons, Brad Smith of Houston, Blake Smith and wife Cheryl of Hunt, and Dr. Bruce Smith and wife Dina of Missouri City grandsons, Josh, Ben, Ryan, and Austin Smith and nieces, Jane Amaba, Mary Cleaves Smith, and Catherine Perkins.Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 2, 2006 at the Schreiner Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church in Kerrville with Rev. Rob Lohmeyer officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital Foundation, Development Office, 710 Water Street, Kerrville, Texas 78028, or the charity of ones choice.
