Charlene Gimbel

Charlene "Kae" Gimbel, 75, peacefully passed away after a long hard fought battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in Kerrville, Texas. She was born on July 24, 1942 in Canton, Ohio.

Kae was a very loving, wonderful woman who was full of life. She had such a contagious laugh that will be missed very much by all. Kae worked for Pepsi Cola Company for almost 25 years. She enjoyed hunting, spending time with her grandkids, gambling, and loved her cat, Rocket. She was also very involved in her church.

Kae is survived by her loving son, Shane Morris, her daughter, Dobbie Slagle and husband Wiley; grandchildren: Tia Youngblood and husband Travis, Jessica Schillings and husband Nathan, Keith Henry, Jason Lippy and wife Meleese, Josh Lippy and wife Rebecca, Gene Lippy, Shelli Muren and husband Daniel, Kourtney Slagle, and her loving brothers Danny and Jimmy Ruggles and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10AM, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Turtle Creek Community Church, 130 Molina Rd., Kerrville, Texas. With Pastor Frankie Enloe officiating.
Interment will follow at Turtle Creek Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial donations be made in Kae's name to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
