Chad James Maddox, 20, of Kerrville, Texas passed away on August 10, 2006 at a local hospital.Chad came to us on August 7, 1986. He was born and raised in Kerrville where he was well known by the entire community as an achiever. From his infant years Chad won several awards in different baby pageants. Chad spent his early childhood involved in the Kerrville chapter of the Cub Scouts. He went on to receive several awards throughout his school years and gained recognition in outstanding achievement academically. Chad was also an avid saxophone player and enjoyed being a part of several school athletic organizations. He was blessed to have the opportunity to graduate from Hill Country High School and received his diploma in 2004. To all who knew Chad, his kind heart and loving nature was by far his quality and this will be missed by friends and family dearly.Chad Maddox is survived by his parents, James W. Maddox, Jr. and Susan Rodriguez brothers, LaShawn Rodriguez and Derrick Maddox step brothers, Brice and Kekoa Murayama grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Maddox, Sr. of Alabama, and Delores Rodriguez of Kerrville and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and nieces.ation will be 68:00 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2006 at Kerrville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eli Vergara, Richard Reeves, Miles Murayama, Hugo Gonzales, Matt Anderson, and Jesse Irving. Honorary Pallbearers will be Trey Wheatfall, Josh Wheatfall, Derrick Maddox, LaShawn Rodriguez, Jermane Rodriguez, Chris Rodriguez, Brice Murayama, and Kekoa Murayama.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Chads name to the Kerr County Federal Credit Union, 3700 Memorial Blvd, in Kerrville.
