Celeste Farr

KERRVILLE Celeste F. Farr of Kerrville, Texas died in her home on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the age of 95. Mrs. Farr was born Celeste Fabiana Mora on July 11, 1918 in Washington D.C. Her parents were Pedro Dolina Mora and Eleanor Elsie Worden.

Mrs. Farr grew up in San Francisco, California and went to Presentation High School. She married Dr. Roy C. Farr of the Public Health Department in 1943 in San Francisco, California. Dr. Mrs. Farr lived for a short time in Portland, Maine before moving to Kerrville, Texas. She was an active and faithful parishioner at Notre Dame Catholic Church and School.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her sister, Justine Cecelia Ferem nephews, Stanley Miramon, Vincent Maranta, Daniel Ferem, Michael Ferem nieces, Maureen Ferem and Teri Ferem, and a host of many loving friends, neighbors, and her church family.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028 on Thursday, December 5th at 6 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, December 6th at 10 AM at Notre Dame Catholic Church, corner of Water and Washington Streets, Kerrville, Texas 78028. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX on Friday, Dec. 6th at 2 PM, where she will be laid to rest with Dr. Farr.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions can be made to Notre Dame Catholic School or to the charity of ones choice.
