Kerrville Mrs. Catherine Coulter Burt, 102, of Kerrville, Texas passed away peacefully on January 24, 2004 at Alpine Terrace in Kerrville, Texas. Born August 15, 1901 near Eureka, Kansas to the late Duke W. and Rosella Wall Coulter, she had been a resident of Kerrville since 1969.Mrs. Burt was a graduate of the University of Kansas in 1923. On May 25, 1925 in Eureka, Kansas, she married Harold A. Burt she then made her life as a wife and homemaker. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1979. She was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church of Kerrville, and was active in the Alter Guild and Cottage Shop for many years. Mrs. Burt was also a life member of the of the Library.Mrs. Burt was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Duke Burt, who passed away in 1986.Survivors include a son, Dan Burt and his wife Anne Burt of Kerrville five grandchildren, Catherine Catt, Clifford Burt, Douglas Burt, Charles Burt, and Barbara Parrish seven greatgrandchildren one greatgreatgrandchild and a host of many loving friends and neighbors.Graveside services will be conducted at Garden of Memories Cemetery on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 10 AM with the Rev. Stockton Williams of St. Peters Episcopal Church officiating. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peters Episcopal Church on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 1 PM, also officiated by Rev. Stockton Williams. The family will receive friends and guests after the service.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the charity of ones choice.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
