Caroline Dommert

KERRVILLE Caroline Anne Dommert, 75, surrounded by the love of her family, went to meet her Heavenly Father after a long illness on November 29, 2013. Anne was born on November 4, 1938 in Laredo, Texas to Colby J. Hinton and Margaret E. Hinton.

Anne graduated from Bellaire High School in Houston, and married Thomas Dommert who preceded her in meeting our Heavenly Father. She was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and retired from Peterson Regional Medical Center. She was involved in many facets of ministry with Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a Lector, and visited the sick and infirmed in their homes. Anne also was involved with the RCIA and ACTS program.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Deborah Boggs of Kerrville, Texas, Barbara Peckham of Lumberton, Texas, and Mary DommertBreckler of Gig Harbor, Washington sisters, Deborah Mahfouz of Alexandria, Louisiana and Susan Plauche of Knoxville, Tennessee 7 grandchildren, Christopher Rogers, Anna Boggs, Jason Robinett ,Rachael Trahan, Claire McCann, Daniel Robinett, and Matthew Peckham 5 great grandchildren, Elisha McCann, Isaac McCann, Madilyn Trahan, Amelia McCann, and Jet Trahan, along with a host of many loving friends and her church family.

Anne will truly be missed by all. The family has asked that memorial donations be made in her memory to Peterson Hospice, Kerrville, Texas.

A recitation of the holy rosary will be held at the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028, on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 6PM with visitation to follow. Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church, located at the corner of Washington and Water St., starting at 10 AM, Saturday, December 7, 2013.
