Carol Woodard

Carol Lee Woodard, born April 29, 1926 in Stephenville, Texas to Cloyd and Erma Dawson. She passed away June 7, 2005 in Kerrville, Texas at the age of 79.She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles T. Woody Woodard daughter, Karen L. Stewart and husband Gerald of Spring, Texas son, Michael B. Woodard of Houston, Texas grandsons, Wick Thomas and wife Amy of Salado, Texas, Chase Woodard Nesbitt of Durango, Colorado granddaughters, Kim Strebeck and husband, Ben, of Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida Christa Woodard of Rio Rancho, New Mexico great granddaughter, Charley Thomas of Salado, Texas.Other survivors include sister, Joyce Brown of Pasadena, Texas brotherinlaw, Curtis Woodard and wife, Loraine of Fredericksburg, Texas nephews, Jerry Brown, Bill Brown, Jeff Woodard and Kyle Woodard a large extended church family and many wellloved friends.Carol was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Kerrville since 1950.Services will be Saturday, 10 a.m., June 11, 2005 at Kerrville Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Arlie Lammers and Rev. Jay Dozier with interment to follow in Glen Rest Cemetery. ation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2005 at Kerrville Funeral Home.
