Carlos Gradillas

Carlos Gradillas, 72, of Kerrville, Texas who passed away from this life in Kerrville Texas on Thursday, August 31, 2017. Carlos was born on April 21, 1945 in Pheonix, Arizona to Fred and Ysaura Gradillas. Carlos spent most of his youth in Lubbock Texas. After his schooling, he enlisted in the U.S.Airforce where he served from 1968 to 1970 during the Viet Nam era. After serving his country in the 2852nd AB Cp, he was released from active duty at McClellan AFB in California in December of 1970. After leaving the military, he met Sarah Jane Moreno, and they were married in Fresno California. He worked for the VA as a Cook in the Kitchen and also worked at a laundry mat, also as a Custodian, until he retired. After retiring, he was employed by the Dietert Center in Kerrville. He loved spending time, with his grandchildren, he also enjoyed driving , working puzzles and riding his bike.

He is preceded by his wife; Sarah Gradillas, grandson: Emilio Venzor

Those who are left to cherish his memories are, son; Rene and his wife Nadine Gradillas, their children; Gabriella and Christopher Gradillas, daughter, Erica and her husband Joe Venzor, their children Vanessa , Natalia, Maurisio and Jazlyn Venzor.

Visatation and Rosary will be 6-8 PM with Rosary to start at 7 PM, Tuesday September 5, 2017 in the main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas.

Funeral Mass is to be 10 AM at Notre Dame Catholic Church Wednesday, September 6, 2017 corner of Water and Washington Street. Burial to follow at Garden of Memories 3250 Fredericksburg Road Kerrville Texas.
