SAN ANTONIO Brenda Ann Wilber Johnson of Kerrville, Texas was born in Alexandria, Virginia on November 9, 1965. She joined the Heavenly Angels on February 11, 2014 at the age of 48.
Growing up in Cortez, Colorado, she later moved to Newbern, North Carolina where she lived for a great deal of her adult life before moving to Kerrville. Brenda worked for many years to provide for her children. She was a very loving mother above all and she raised three respectful boys who loved her so very much. Brenda was also very close to her grandchildren, Chris, Kyley, Chelsea and was really proud of her newest grandson, three week old Aiden.
Brenda was the mother anyone could have. She was very giving and never expected anything in return. She had a love for all animals, and was very intelligent, gentle, loving and sweet. Brenda was to love and slow to judge. She was always there for everyone, no matter how bad she felt or what time it was.
Her hobbies included crossword puzzles which she was amazing at, reading, putting together puzzles, crossstitch and writing in her journals.
Brenda will also be dearly missed by her sister whom she meant the world to. The family finds comfort in knowing that God lifted her up and she is at peace.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Preston Kirk Wilber and Irene Nellie Caton Wilber maternal grandparents, Herbert Lee Caton and Lula Pearl Ipock paternal grandparents, Earl Laforest Wilber and Blanche Louise Wilber and brother, Steven M. Nelson.
Those left to honor and cherish her memories are her sons, Corey, and Jesse Johnson of Kerrville, Texas and Calan Johnson of Fort Lee, Virginia, United States Army sister, Lucinda Cyndi Wilber Richter and husband Glenn of Boerne, Texas grandchildren, Chris, Kyley, Chelsea, and Aiden, all of Kerrville, Texas nephews, Skylar, Montana, Dakota, and Weston Richter all of Boerne, Texas along with many loving friends and neighbors who will miss her dearly.
A time of ation and Reflection will be held from 5 7 PM, Monday, February 17, 2014 at Kerrville Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Kerrville, Texas with Interment following at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville, Texas.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made to the organization of ones choice.
