Hiatt Vega, 80, passed from this life on Wednesday morning, August 20, 2008 at her residence.nbspBorn in Trobridge, IL on February 24, 1928, she was the daughter of Garland B and Chloe E. Reynolds Hiatt.nbsp She had been a resident of Kerrville since 1990, coming here from Piersoll, TX.nbspMrs. Vega was married to Phillipp Vega on May 29, 1964 in Chicago, IL.nbsp She was a nurse for 34 years, retiring in 1996.nbspShe is predeceased by her husband and her parents and a brother, Jerry Hiatt.nbspMrs. Vega is survived by her 2 daughters and a soninlaw, Charlotte and John Field of Kerrville and Teri Plemmons of Long Beach, CA 2 grandsons, Travis Lee Field and Garrett Lee Field both of Kerrville 2 sisters, Marilyn Mathias of Port Austin, MI and Roberta Burton of Neoga, IL. She also survived by many nieces and nephews.nbspAccording to Mrs. Vegarsquos wishes, there will be no services.nbspIn lieu of floral arrangements, monetary donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.nbspnbsp
