Billy Bauer

Kerrville Billy Lloyd Bauer, 71, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local hospital on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Billy was born on December 9, 1941 to Leslie Bauer and Lucille Sparks Bauer in Victoria, TX. He served in the U.S. Army from February 1961 to February 1967. In 1979, he met Lona Beth Hext and they were married on June 1, 1979 in Shreveport, LA. They were blessed with Three Daughters.

Billy was employed as a truck and trailer repairman for over 20 years for Fruehauf and the last few years before retiring he was employed at JB Hunt.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Lucille Bauer.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory are his wife, Lona Beth Bauer his daughters, Lacey Elliott and husband Chance, Julie Williford and husband Joe, Jana Buckingham 6 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held in the main chapel at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy. Kerrville, TX on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 4:00 PM.
