Billie Jo Freeman

Billie Jo Huddleston Freeman, 76, of Kerrville passed from this life in Kerrville, Texas on Thursday, September 14, 2023.

Billie was born May 1, 1947 in Lamesa, Texas.  She married James (Jim) D. Freeman on March 18, 1967. They spent 26 years in the Air Force and traveled the world before retiring.  After Billie’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis her husband Jim lovingly took care of her for several years, until he was unable due to cancer. She was placed in Hilltop Village after that and Jim died August 23, 2023. She followed him to heaven on September 14, 2023.

They had no children and are survived by her sister, Melba Freeman and husband Robert; her brother, Kenneth Huddleston and wife Carol; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 6:00 PM, Monday, September 18, 2023 with visitation from 5-7:00 PM. Private burial will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
