Beverly Yanda

Beverly A. Yanda, 79, of Kerrville, TX went to be with her Lord February 15, 2017. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 11, 1937 to Edward John and Clara Mae Schmidt.

Beverly married James R Brown in 1956 until his death in 1984 they spent 28 wonderful years together. She married Eugene Yanda in 1988 until his death in 2014.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward John and Clara Mae Schmidt; her husbands, James R. Brown and Eugene Yanda.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her children, daughter, Vickory (Leonard) Sutton; sons, Jim (Laurie) Brown and John Tyler Brown; sister, Barbara (Dan) Denson; grandchildren, Courtney (Chris) Trevino, Joseph (Leighia) Sutton, Ty Brown, Jason Brown, Matt Brown, Jeff Brown, Joshua (Annie) Brown, Allison Anderson, Cody Anderson and Sarah Anderson and four great grandchildren and Marley, her dog who she adored.

Beverly retired from the USAF Secretary Service in 1974. She was a member of the Kerrville Chamber of Commerce and an active member of the St. Peter's Episcopal Church and loved her church family.
Beverly loved to volunteer at the St. Peter's Cottage Shop. She also enjoyed traveling with family and friends, RV road trips, cruises, sewing and attending Bible study on Wednesdays. Beverly enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren, especially at Christmas. She was a proud organ donor and was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Peter's Episcopal Church of Kerrville or Kathleen C. Cailloux Humane Society at 2900 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028.

A Visitation will be held 5-7PM Friday, February 17, 2017 at Kerrville Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be held 9:45AM Saturday, February 18, 2017, in the main Chapel at Kerrville Funeral Home ,1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX 78028. Interment to follow are Garden of Memories.
